Diasen Acriflex balcony:
New OSB3 boards or High Quality Marine ply to be laid. Two-component liquid waterproofing membrane with high technology content. Highly elastic and long lasting, resistant to ponding water, UV rays, high and low temperatures, weathering agents and to freeze-thaw cycles.
Compared to traditional waterproofing liquid membranes, Acriflex Winter is characterised by a high resin content in comparison with the cement. Reinforced liquid applied waterproofing layer 2 coats of applied. Hard wearing top coat suitable for domestic pedestrian traffic. Fibre-reinforced liquid waterproofing membrane made of cement, to waterproof balconies, terraces, tanks, swimming pools or foundations. Ideal for: balconies, terraces, swimming pools and tanks.
GRP/Fibreglass balcony:
New 18mm OSB3 boards are laid on the existing roof joists. Once the entire roof area is decked our skilled team will fix all the pre-formed trim detail to the new roof, each joint is carefully laminated with resin and a 450g mat bandage to provide additional structural strength at all joints and roof details. Upon completion of the deck and trim details, the roof is laminated with a resin and a 600g mat glass fibre mat, this process is repeated twice giving you a 1200g mat glass fibre mat not a 450g mat that many other companies will use. The roof is finally sealed with a further coating of nonslip topcoat. The topcoat can be pigmented in several standard colours, although we recommend the standard light grey colour to diminish thermal gain. The topcoat will also stop any UV transmission into the body of the GRP layer
