FIBREGLASS  Roof with 20 Year Materials Warranty:

Flat roofs have long been a cause of concern in the UK, as it is UV rays that damage most flat roofs (rain just shows the symptoms of the damage caused by the sun) one might wonder how, in hot countries, there are so many successful flat roofs. We believe the main reason for flat roof failure in the UK is the fact that we experience many more temperature changes.

Midwest Roofing have tried many different flat roofing solutions, some more successful than others. Built-up felt systems rely on heat being applied to the roof either by using hot (melted) bitumen or torch-on felt. GRP requires no torch/heat.

The Solutions

FIBREGLASS Roof with 20 Year Materials & Workmanship Warranty: @ £65m2: 3 meters x 7 meters Garage /Kitchen roof from: £1,365 – 10 year Midwest Roofing Guarantee as Standard.

New 18mm OSB3 boards are laid on the existing roof joists. Once the entire roof area is decked our skilled team will fix all the pre-formed trim detail to the new roof, each joint is carefully laminated with resin and a 450g mat bandage to provide additional structural strength at all joints and roof details. Upon completion of the deck and trim details, the roof is laminated with a resin and a 600g mat glass fibre mat, not a 450g mat that many other companies will use. The roof is finally sealed with a further coating of topcoat. The topcoat can be pigmented in several standard colours, although we recommend the standard light grey colour to diminish thermal gain. The topcoat will also stop any UV transmission into the body of the GRP layer. @ £65m2: 3×7 Garage /Kitchen roof from: £1,365 (Additional trims may be needed).

In addition, the thin design results in the minimal use of raw materials in manufacture and energy for transportation. It is UV resistant. Fibreglass roofs can be ideal for awkward situations or where a walking surface is required.

Midwest Roofing can install any type of fibreglass flat roofs, high-quality roofs which are fully guaranteed up to 20 years.

Kemper

Midwest Roofing is an authorised contractor for the Kemper systems. The functionality and working life of any waterproofing system depends to a large extent on the quality of the application. KEMPER SYSTEM specified waterproofing and surfacing systems should only be installed by trained, independent contractors whose operatives have completed specific product training by KEMPER SYSTEM in the use of our waterproofing systems.

Liquid roofing and waterproofing systems for long-term protection of roofs, buildings, balconies, terraces, walkways, carparks and critical structures. KEMPEROL is the ideal roofing membrane for new build or flat roof refurbishment, and as the waterproofing for warm roofs, inverted roofs and green roof systems.

Liquid Roofing and Waterproofing is a complete resin-based liquid roofing and waterproofing system. Cold applied wet-on-wet, without the fire risk of hot works, KEMPEROL® bonds directly to virtually any substrate to provide a seamless, elastomeric, UV-stable membrane. This offers distinct advantages over partially bonded, layered liquid, sheet membrane, or heat-applied materials.

Most liquid-applied systems offer just one resin – a single solution whatever the application. At KEMPER SYSTEM we have a range of dedicated resins, each developed to optimise waterproofing performance under different conditions and specific substrate applications. And unlike multi-layer coating systems, the use of the reinforcement fleece provides a clear visual quality assurance indication that the correct membrane thickness has been achieved.

Key Uses For KEMPEROL® liquid Waterproofing

Flat roofs, balconies, terraces, walkways and podiums
